In the small bowl, mix the rose petals, marigold petals, and vervain. Beside the small bowl, place the dressed red candle to bring love to yourself. Hold the heart with your name on it and imagine it is your heart, happy, safe, balanced, and filled with passion for life. You can put a drop of your blood on the paper. (This is an old practice to ensure sympathy, but is not necessary.) Put the paper in the bowl, add a few drops of alcohol, stand back, and set the mixture aflame.
